Tiffany’s journey shaped the vision behind Basic Needs Plus. As a young mother, she relied on housing programs, public benefits, and community support systems to build stability. She later advanced into leadership roles within affordable housing, workforce development, resident services, and federal program operations. Having stood on both sides of the system as a recipient and as a practitioner, she witnessed the same barriers repeated over and over: fragmented information, siloed agencies, inconsistent guidance, and overwhelming processes that left families feeling lost.
These experiences fueled her determination to build a solution that could bridge the gap.

Tiffany Green is the Founder and CEO of Basic Needs Plus and a serial entrepreneur who successfully transitioned from HUD-assisted programs to owning assets and multiple businesses. She credits her financial, personal, and professional growth to navigating community resources, supportive programs, and economic mobility pathways that helped her overcome poverty and build long-term stability.
Drawing from lived experience and more than a decade of leadership in housing, community development, and federal program innovation, Tiffany created Basic Needs Plus to design technology that removes barriers and empowers individuals and families to change their lives. Her journey inspires the mission behind ResourceME, an AI-powered platform that simplifies access to essential services and connects people to opportunity.
